Mikkael Foundation intends people specifically school and university students to get involved in their local communities and democracy at all levels, from towns to cities to nationwide activity. It aims,
- To impart a combination of knowledge, attitude, skills and actions that aim to contribute to building and maintaining a democratic society
- Campaign to educate young people about democratic values, skills, participation and importance of voting
Mikkael Foundation renders its helping hands to victims of natural and manmade disasters namely floods, earthquakes, storms to name a few. It reached all the differently abled persons living in the Sattankulam Panchayat since march 2020 as COVID-19 spreads heavily.
- Key organization coordinates the relief activities between the government and people
- Distributing the relief fund through the Government official/ authorities
- Imparting health information related to COVID-19
- Distributing food items to the affected victims
Based on the raw materials, man power and opportunities available in the community, Mikkael Foundation enables both the female and male members to become economically sound.
- Bringing different organizations to train the members on products
- Provide information on various available resources like credits, raw material etc to build the business at micro and macro level
